It`s a beautiful winter day in Montreal, the trees are full of fresh-fallen snow, the ground is snow covered and slippery in some spots, The sun is casting long shadows on the white snow. A lady is carefully making her way along the city street lined with winding staircases. I wonder where she is going on such a cold day, probably to work or school.

C’est une belle journée d’hiver à Montréal, les arbres sont remplis de neige fraîchement tombée, le sol est recouvert de neige et glissant à certains endroits, le soleil jette de longues ombres sur la neige blanche. Une dame fait soigneusement son chemin le long de la rue de la ville bordée d'escaliers  extérieurs en fer forgé.. Je me demande où elle va par une journée si froide, probablement au travail ou à l'école.
