As a daily painter, I love sketching and painting our four seasons, the bright colors, and the interesting city life in so many of Montreal and its many neighorhoods such as the downtown area,Plateau Mont Royal,Hochelaga, Rosemont, Verdun and Pointe St.Charles I also love to work from life as I explore new ways to paint everyday household objects such as tea cups, flowers, fruits and so much more. It was around four o'clock on a school day in the middle of winter and a yellow school bus drove up the street as this girl was crossing. I was struck by the reflections that the yellow bus made on the wet ground and how treacherous walking was because we didn't know if the reflections were on water or on ice. The girl and I made our way safely down the street.
